About Dr. Joe

My photo
is Dr. Joseph Line. He is a master piano teacher, performer and celebrated conductor with over 30 years of experience teaching children and adults of all levels and ages. He holds bachelor's and master's degrees from Oberlin Conservatory of Music in Ohio, and a doctorate from the University of Michigan. Since 1989, Dr. Joe has taught piano privately in two studios in the Princeton NJ area. Currently he resides in Coral Springs, FL with his wife, Darby and their shih-tzu, Mischa, where he has a very active private studio and is co-founder and Director of Piano Studies at Arts Alive, a performing arts school serving the South Florida region. Mischa. Dr. Joe is the author of the soon to be released book: Eight Steps to Practicing Smart: A Practical Guide for Beginning and Intermediate Pianists.
